OM Swastikk Productions provides cost-effective video development solutions to businesses remotely across India. Along with that, we also create professional video editing, video production, motion videos, and we have professional voice-over artists available in all Indian and foreign languages.

Our office is a small studio based in Kolkata, and we are also available in Mumbai. You will learn more about this as you read further.

OM Swastikk Productions is a team of four people—myself and three other talented young individuals.

But this story, this "About Us," is not about those three young people. This story is about me. I am Prosenjit Mazumder, the founder, creative head, and showrunner of OM Swastikk Productions.

Back in 2020, around August 22nd, when I started my startup to provide cost-effective video-making solutions for businesses, it wasn’t called OM Swastikk Productions. At that time, it was named IPOWER Video Editing Services. As you can tell from the name, in the beginning, I was only doing video editing for businesses.

Slowly, the journey grew, businesses from across India started connecting with us… and IPOWER Video Editing Services eventually evolved into OM Swastikk Productions.

But before August 22nd, 2020, there is a long story of struggle in my life. From around 2004 to 2020 in Mumbai, I would go to different production companies or directors with my feature film or web series projects—sometimes as a writer and screenwriter, and sometimes as a filmmaker.

But it was always like reaching stage one, sometimes stage two, at most stage three—yet never stage four. I never managed to find an investor or producer for my projects. It’s a long struggle story, and if I elaborate on it in detail, it won’t really fit on this website page.

Yes, during my struggle in Mumbai, I used to create video portfolios for models, work on teasers, trailers, and short film editing. Alongside that, I also worked in the corporate sector in sales, as a Senior Marketing and Corporate Account Manager, for about 12–13 years.

Now, let’s return to the present day and OM Swastikk Productions.

When I realized that the Bollywood industry wasn’t giving me the opportunity to showcase my talent and work, I thought—why not create business videos for companies instead? In June 2020, I moved back from Mumbai to my hometown, Kolkata, as the lockdown had halted all work and financial difficulties forced me to return.

At home and unemployed, I began searching online for creative opportunities—and that’s when this idea struck me.

During my research and development, I discovered that although most businesses needed videos for their brand or products, they often didn’t create them. The main reason was cost and budget constraints.

After months of brainstorming, we came up with and introduced a new concept called “Video Development”—which looks just like a production video, TV commercial, or motion graphic, but costs up to 90% less.

Slowly, businesses across India began to trust our work and connect with us.

And today, in just five years, we have created more than 436 business videos for 138 businesses and brands across India.

I know that today we have created 436 videos. In the future, this number may grow to 1,000, then perhaps 5,000… and gradually, almost every other business in India might come to know about OM Swastikk Productions.

But there’s a clear difference between the film industry and the advertising industry.

In advertising, no matter how much work you do—how impactful it is, or how many brands and clients you have—your name doesn’t shine in the same way. Ordinary people never really know who you are, what you’ve achieved, or what your identity is.

But while the glass may seem half empty, it is also half full. Even if the general public doesn’t recognize us, whenever business owners, founders, or directors take a moment to appreciate us and our work—it may not be an award, but it certainly feels like a reward.

I, Prosenjit Mazumder, want to sincerely thank all the 138 businesses and brands we’ve worked with, and also those who are reading this today. Thank you for giving me, for giving us, the opportunity to showcase our creative magic and work for you.
